About Ethan
So you want to know more about me?
I have been a hypnosis enthusiast since my teens. I’ve undergone formal (live classroom) hypnosis, stress-reduction and motivational coaching training at the Minnesota Institute of Advanced Communication Skills (MIACS), a Minnesota state-licensed training school in Minnetonka, MN. At MIACS I studied with Devin Hastings, the president of MIACS, an author and an international speaker. I am also a member of the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH).
I am a certified and trained stress reduction coach, motivational coach, hypnotist and a consulting hypnotist specialized in deep relaxation, stress management, motivation, smoking cessation, weight loss and control, confidence & self-esteem, anxiety reduction and self-hypnosis. I help individuals use the power of their own minds to get rid of ideas and habits that hurt them.
Due to my training and experience, I have a skill with words that allows me to help you positively use the power of your own (subconscious) mind to resolve a variety of issues. This skill allows me to guide you, with your permission, into a deep & relaxing state that often produces therapeutic results in individuals.
Mind-Body, Holistic & Spiritual Hypnosis
I’ve always been a spiritual person pondering the larger questions of life and existence. Throughout my hypnosis practice I learned how all people are spiritual (yes, every single person) and that we all love and long to nature (trees, sky, beaches, green, blue, wind, animals, birds etc). When appropriate I incorporate these into sessions.
My approach to hypnosis coaching is a holistic one, I respect and recognize the mind-body unit, I also respect and utilize the spiritual beliefs of my clients. As part of practicing Holistic Hypnosis I combine my knowledge of hypnosis to that of alternative healing modalities and recent mind-body research. I also assist individuals through the use of meditation, guided imagery and biofeedback. I also like to read, checkout these recommended books.

Schedule & A Little More About Me
I keep a full time (day) job in the Information Technology field (I hold a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Information Science and a Minor in Math from Minnesota State University, Mankato – 2004, Magna Cum Laude.) I practice hypnosis on a part-time basis.
I keep a part-time hypnosis coaching practice due to my lifelong interest in hypnosis and its effectiveness, I also feel a calling to help others by helping them utilize their god-given natural power of the mind. I personally get rewarded every time I use hypnosis to help someone; it is very spiritually and emotionally rewarding to help people utilize the power of their own minds to find wholeness and better their lives. I also volunteer my holistic hypnosis services at a health crisis resource center called Pathways in Minneapolis.
At my day job I do a multitude of things including: Managing Windows servers, managing databases and database servers & IT projects.
In my free time, I enjoy taking photos of nature (see some of the photos I’ve taken here), hiking, walking on trails and in woods, researching hypnosis and other interests. I spend a healthy amount of time reading, reading and then reading some more — and writing, of course. Find more hypnosis articles that I’ve written at Hypno-Facts.com with more being added as time permits.
Due to my knowledge of the Information Technology field I was able to, over the span of three years, start a free and open local listings, a local encyclopedia and a local guide known as the Insiders’ Encyclopedia, check it out now. Insiders’Pedia allows you to add pages to the encyclopedia in under 2 minutes! Give it a try! Become and insiders and share your knowledge. Insiders’Pedia offers you 100% free publicity for your business or favorite band or landmark.
